At Schultz Therapeutic Massage we want provide the best possible massage service that we can by making sure all of our clients are comfortable and relaxed at all times. For this reason there are Policies and Boundaries that must be enforced so that all parties can stay safe, happy and enjoy the benefits of massage therapy!  Helping people is our number ONE goal.


When entering the building masks are required. Masks will be required during all parts of the massage, NO EXCEPTIONS. If you have a medical issue where you are unable to wear a mask Schultz Therapeutic Massage will be unable to provide any services at this time. Wash your hands upon arrival to the massage suite and then again after your session. If you have had any contact or exposure to Covid please  cancel your massage session then follow all CDC and health care professional guidelines before rebooking your massage session. If  you have had a fever within the past 72 hours please cancel your massage session and rebook when all symptoms have cleared for 72 hours. Should your therapist or someone within the office become exposed or sick all sessions will be canceled until 14 days after a self quarantine. 

Respectful Boundaries

As a client you will be appropriately draped with a sheet/blanket/towel at all times.

The therapist will only massage the areas that are undraped. The breasts & genital areas will not be massaged under any circumstances. Please understand that any sexual advances, sounds, comments or innuendos as well as rude or violent behavior will result in immediate dismissal and will be reported to the legal authorities. Sexual discussions or interactions will be taken as sexual harassment and will not be tolerated at anytime. If a session is terminated early due to such issues, full payment is still required. The therapist reserves the right to refuse service at any time to anyone.

Please silence your cell phones

Understand that the building we are located in has more than one therapist in session. We ask that ALL clients turn off your cell phones before entering the building. If you need to keep your phone on for emergency purposes only please inform your therapist. If you need to take a phone call, please step outside of the building to do so. We like to provide relaxation for everyone.



In the event of inclement weather that requires the closure of the office due to unsafe driving conditions, school closings, emergency advisories or other unforeseeable circumstances your massage session will be canceled and rescheduled for the next available time on the therapist schedule. Unfortunately we cannot account for every possible weather issue and apologize for any issues this may cause. We will try our best to give proper notice before your session begins, but your therapist has the right to cancel at anytime. Safety is our number one concern for all parties. Thank you for your patience.

Payment Options

Schultz Therapeutic Massage accepts all major credit cards. A processing fee of $2 for any debit/credit transaction under $100 purchase and $5 for anything over $100 purchase will be charged for each transaction. Cash, Local Checks and Venmo are also accepted. We will not hold checks, all checks written will be cashed same day. For all rejected or bounced checks there will be a automatic $30 fee on top of your service costs. Please note all purchases through Schultz Therapeutic Massage have a no refund policy, this also includes packages, gift certificates and memberships.

Late Policy

At Schultz Therapeutic Massage we can only schedule so many appointments a day, and because of this, being late to an appointment may require you to reschedule or cancel for that day.  Please leave in enough time to find the massage suite location. If you are late due to being "lost" the late policy still applies. All clients are asked to arrive a few minutes early in order to fill out proper paperwork, use the facilities and be prepared for your appointment. This policy includes new clients and existing clientele. If you choose to fill out your paperwork online that’s GREAT, but we still ask that you arrive at least 5-10 minutes early to your appointment. If you arrive 10 minutes or later to your appointment, the session will be canceled and rescheduled for another time. Any client that is late will be docked time off of their massage session NO EXCEPTIONS.

Cancellation and No Show

You must call at least 12 hours in advanced to cancel or change an appointment failure to do will result in a $20 rebook fee. If you fail to show up without notifying your therapist at least 12 hours in advanced you will be required to pay 100% of the session price as a coverage fee for the therapist time. If you booked under a package, Groupon or membership your session/voucher will be redeemed. If you are late to an appointment you will only receive what time is left of your session. Cancelling without sufficient notice may require a credit card to be kept on file to reschedule the appointment.  We cannot account for every unexpected life event (sickness, death ect.) we have the right to waive this policy (at your therapist’s discretion). This policy is only in place to encourage common courtesy and boundaries between client and therapist. All of our hours are subject to change.

If you are unable to schedule an appointment during normal business hours and have purchased a Groupon please feel free to call Groupon to get a refund. All other purchases through Schultz Therapeutic Massage have a non refundable policy

When to reschedule 

If you are sick, please call and reschedule your session. Receiving a massage while you are not feeling well may seem like a good idea, but the massage can actually disrupt the bodies’ natural healing cycle and make your sickness worse. Getting a massage while sick can also infect others making it difficult for us to do our jobs. If you are unsure if you should reschedule please call and ask the therapist. Sickness is not the only thing that can be harmful for massage, any body rashes, recent body waxes, sunburn, or out breaks of any kinds.


If you have had any recent medical procedures inform your therapist before your session so that we can best determine if we can perform the session safely or when in doubt get a medical release from your health care professional and bring it with you to your session.

Arriving with any of the above could cause the session to be cancelled and rescheduled. Please understand your therapist can refuse service to anyone at any time no questions asked.

​​Client Agreement. 

I understand that the massage I receive is provided for the basic purpose of relaxation and relief of muscle tension. If I experience any pain or discomfort during the session, I will immediately inform the therapist so that the pressure and or strokes may be adjusted to my level of comfort. I further understand that the massage therapist is not a substitute for medical treatment. I understand that massage therapists are not qualified to preform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat any illness. I affirm that I have stated all of my known medical conditions and answered all questions honestly. I agree to keep the therapist updated of any changes in my medical profile and understand that there shall be no liability on the therapists part should I fail to do so.
